We’re turning Western Canadian golf courses into places you can play indoors, using LiDAR scans of the real terrain.
The goal is simple: if you know a course, you should recognise it in the simulator. The slope of a green, the shape of a bunker and the climb to a tee all matter.
From the fairway to the screen
- Capture the course. Terrestrial LiDAR scanning records terrain and course features, including tees, fairways, greens, bunkers and changes in elevation.
- Build the digital ground. We align and clean the point-cloud data, reconstruct the terrain, then create and optimise meshes and textures.
- Make it playable. Environment work brings the course into a real-time engine. Testing checks performance, appearance and how the round actually plays.
Brad Oleksy trained in professional LiDAR workflows with Cansel instructors while working in the motion picture industry with IATSE Local 891. The development work draws on that scanning background and more than 20 years in games, film and motion capture.
What we’re working on
Our course pipeline and Unreal Engine workflows are in development. The work includes terrain processing, vegetation, lighting, playability and optimisation. We’ll share platform and release details as they are confirmed.
We work with artists and technicians represented by IATSE Local 212. Club revenue helps fund scanning, development tools and new courses.

Join the LiDAR Golf Society in PGA TOUR 2K25 to try our course releases, take part in tournaments and share feedback.
Help us test at the club
Once the Edmonton club opens, selected public playtests will let players try new content and tell us what works. No membership is required. We’ll announce opportunities as they become available.
Beyond golf
We’re also exploring how the same scanning process could bring racetracks and other driving venues into simulation.
